According to details, a meeting of the federal cabinet was held in Islamabad on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The participants were informed in the briefing that Saudi Arabia has announced the release of 50 Pakistani prisoners on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha. According to Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry, efforts are being made to bring back Pakistanis imprisoned abroad. Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman released 2,000 Pakistanis imprisoned in Saudi Arabia two years ago However, only 89 Pakistanis have been released from Saudi jails since 2019.
